Victory on Disability Placards and Parking Permits

On March 4th, Governor Rhoden signed HB 1104 to expand the list of providers authorized to certify disability placards to include physical therapists, chiropractors, nurse practitioners and physician assistants.  Congratulations and thank you to all who helped on the campaign.

APTA SD Day on the Hill

We had an excellent turnout on January 20th for our Day on the Hill.  Attendees primarily advocated for HB 1104 and will expand the list of providers authorized to certify disability placards - to include PT's, chiropractors, Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
